At Alomere Health, we operate our own medical laboratory that not only serves our hospital customers, but also the hospitals and clinics in the surrounding communities.

The Alomere Health Laboratory is under the medical direction of board-certified pathologists, is accredited by the AOA, and is CLIA certified by the CLIA as a highly complex laboratory providing Microbiology, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Immunology, Transfusion Medicine, Cytology, and Histology services.

Blood Draws
We provide outpatient blood draw and oncology draws in our Specialty Clinic located on the main level of the Alomere Health hospital, next to Medical Oncology.

Lab Testing Services
Our lab operates 24 hours a day, with a team of experienced, professionally certified technicians and technologists. We provide a wide range of tests, including:
- Routine chemistries
- A1c tests
- BNP tests
- General health panels
- Iron panels
- Organ panels
- PSA tests
- Thyroid testing
- Esoteric testing
- B12 tests
- Folate tests
- Hormone levels
- Quantitative hCG tests
- Tumor markers
- Hematology tests
These tests consist of CBCs with automated five-part differentials (manual differential if required), prothrombin time, and sedimentation rates.
Additional Tests
- Serologies done in-house are mono, flu, H. pylori, HIV, RSV and pregnancy tests.
- Full urinalysis with microscopy
- Throat screens for Strep A
- Wound and urine cultures are plated here, and any cultures with growth are referred to the reference lab for identification and sensitivities.
