And with our collaboration with Heartland Orthopedic Specialists (Top 10% in the Nation for Joint Replacement), we are bringing a full spectrum of world-class care to rural Minnesota. Heartland has clinics in Alexandria, Fergus Falls, Graceville, Morris, Wadena, and Willmar. And with a team of 11 board-certified joint, spine, and sports medicine experts, you no longer need to travel to a big city to get specialized care.
Thank you for placing your trust in us. That’s the most valuable recognition of all.
The National Rural Health Association has named Alomere Health as one of the Top 20 Rural & Community Hospitals in the nation. Alomere Health is the first Minnesota hospital to ever garner this honor in the Top 20 Rural and Community Hospital category!
Top performers are recognized as excelling in managing risk, achieving higher quality, securing better outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction, and operating at a lower cost than their peers. These groups serve as a benchmark for other rural facilities as they strive to achieve similar results and provide a blueprint for successfully navigating the uncertainty of the new healthcare.
Alomere Health scored in the top 100 of rural and community hospitals on iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength INDEX® yet again. The INDEX is the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural provider performance and its results are the basis for many of rural healthcare’s most prominent awards, advocacy efforts and legislative initiatives.
This is the sixth year Alomere has won this award (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024), making us one of only 3 hospitals in Minnesota to achieve this status! There is no better illustration of the value that rural facilities provide to their communities than to be recognized as one of the top performing rural facilities in the nation. Earning a spot on the Top 100 list is based on performance across numerous metrics. It is the health care industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural provider performance.
These awards are evidence of our culture of accountability, compassion, excellence, hospitality, and integrity- values that are embraced by our staff and physicians. Thank you Alexandria Area community & neighbors for placing your trust in us. That’s the most valuable recognition of all.
Alomere Health has been recognized by CMS as a 5 Star hospital. This national recognition is evidence and a great testament to the teamwork and overall commitment to supporting a culture of accountability and excellence that has been embraced by the staff and physicians who work in the clinics and hospital settings.
For the second time, Alomere Health has been named one of the nation’s Top 100 Hospitals. We do not apply for this award but are selected from over 3,000 hospitals nationwide. This award is based on best performance across the whole hospital in the areas of: patient outcomes, patient safety, patient satisfaction, efficiency and financial stability.
Becker’s Hospital Review has included Alomere Health in their 2024 edition of its “Great community hospitals” list.
Community hospitals are a crucial piece of the overall healthcare system in the U.S. They provide patients located outside of metropolitan areas with convenient, affordable care. Some of these community hospitals serve rural populations, while others benefit suburban communities.
The community hospitals honored in this list are focused on bringing clinical and academic excellence, personalized and holistic care, and overall improved health to their communities. The Becker’s editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on nominations and considered several outside rankings and ratings organizations, including U.S. News & World Report, Healthgrades, CMS, The Leapfrog Group, the National Rural Health Association and The Chartis Center for Rural Health.
Alomere earns the Accreditation from Accredited Commission for Healthcare. ACHC Accreditation is independent third-party validation, through a comprehensive survey process, that a healthcare organization’s policies, processes, and care delivery meet recognized standards for quality and safety.
