Dr. Wheeler graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 2021, and stayed in Duluth to complete her residency. She joined the Alomere Family Medicine team in 2024.

In addition to being attracted to the fields of dermatology, women’s health, and pediatrics, Dr. Wheeler enjoyed serving a much more diverse population in Duluth. “I learned a lot. I learned to simply meet people at their point of need—whatever that need might be. I want to help patients be the healthiest version of themselves.”

Now back home after being away for ten years, Dr. Wheeler is excited to serve lakes country residents of all ages with a whole continuum of care. “Each person is unique. I take a holistic approach, trying to see the whole picture of care, and tailoring it for them. And I like focusing on preventive care.”
