Samantha Aabel, Certified Nurse Midwife was born and raised in Alexandria, MN.  She attended the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, MN where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2015. She then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI where she completed her Master of Science in nursing. While completing her master’s degree, Samantha worked as a RN on the Women’s and Family Care Center at Aurora West Allis Medical Center. She received her Master of Science in nursing, Nurse Midwifery in May 2018. She is certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board and the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Samantha’s special interests are family planning, pregnancy and birth, and providing holistic care for women of all ages. She currently lives in Garfield with her husband, Luke, and their dog, Murphy. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends on the lake, watching hockey, and being outdoors.
