Rehab had a big year.

On January 2, 2024, Alomere Health opened the doors to its newly constructed Rehabilitation Services location in Alexandria, Minnesota. Just over a year later—and with 22,646 patient visits in 2024 alone—the impact of this facility is already deeply felt in the community.

Sadie Endberg, Director of Rehab Services, reflects on how the expanded space has transformed care for both patients and staff.
“With all of the new and expansive space, we’ve been able to significantly grow our rehab services,” says Enberg. “We now have a dedicated play gym for our pediatric patients, which makes therapy fun and engaging. And our new therapy pool has been a hit—with over 300 sessions last year, it’s getting great use.”
Beyond enhancing patient services, the new facility has reinvigorated the therapy team. “One of the most fun parts of the transition was watching the staff settle in and make the space their own,” Enberg shares. “The bright, sunny environment has energized everyone. We’ve been getting creative with how we use the space, constantly fine-tuning to better serve our patients.”

Thoughtfully designed for future growth, the new Rehab Services continues to open new doors. “Alomere designed this floorpan with expansion in mind,” says Enberg. “And with how well the community has responded, we’re always on the lookout for more therapists who want to grow with us.”
Innovation and collaboration are also key to Rehab Services’ success. One standout initiative is a wellness partnership with the Alexandria Police Department. “We provide baseline physical assessments, injury prevention, and help officers recover functionality from both old and new injuries,” says Enberg. “We’ve seen near 100% voluntary participation from the APD officers.”

Another example is their strengthened collaboration with area school therapists. “Often we’re working with the same pediatric patients. Now we’re communicating more directly, which results in a better, more coordinated experience for the families we serve.”
