Where did you grow up?

Perham, Minnesota.

Why did you choose to become an Athletic Trainer?

I have a love for sports and a passion to help people. Athletic training was the perfect fit for someone like me.

Why did you choose to work at Heartland Orthopedic Specialists?

Located in Alexandria, I knew this was a place I wanted to live. Alexandria has everything you need, the community as a whole is great, and I feel like I am making a difference each day.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

Having a diverse team of athletic trainer co-workers. We all understand one another and give support to each other. I like to think of it as a ‘work family.’ It feels very unique to be able to say that about where I work.

Our group here at Heartland has been through some highs and lows throughout the years. But no matter what is thrown our way, we continue to have success as individuals and as a team. Our willingness to stay strong together is what makes this place special.
