Alomere hosts advanced functional dry needling training.

Alomere Health recently hosted a Functional Dry Needling Level 2 certification course in partnership with Evidence In Motion (EIM) at the Alomere Pavilion on January 24–25. The advanced, two-day training brought clinicians from across the region to Alexandria to further develop specialized physical therapy skills.

Four of Alomere Health’s physical therapists, including Tyler Bentrup, Courtney Suppa, Scott Syverson, and Lindsay Weller, along with Drew Paradis from Heartland Orthopedic Specialists, successfully completed their Level 2 certification. They were joined by eight additional clinicians who traveled to Alexandria to participate in the course.

Achieving Level 2 certification requires significant commitment to professional development. Clinicians must first complete the Level 1 course, which includes approximately 30 hours of education and hands-on training, submit a treatment log documenting a minimum of 100 dry needling sessions, complete extensive Level 2 pre-course coursework, and ultimately demonstrate advanced competency during the in-person intensive.

Alomere Health and Heartland Orthopedic Specialists are proud to support and recognize these physical therapists for their dedication to advancing patient care. Dry needling services are offered at both the Heartland Orthopedics Physical Therapy Clinic and the Alomere Pavilion, expanding access to evidence-based treatment options for patients in the Alexandria area.
