Crystal Swenson grew up in Renville, MN, and attended high school at Renville County West High School. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Speech/Language/ Hearing Sciences. She attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and graduated with a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2007. Crystal has special interests in swallowing disorders and voice disorders. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Crystal lives in Alexandria with her husband Bryce, two children, and dog. She enjoys being with family, traveling, and being outdoors. Crystal joined Douglas County Hospital in December 2009.
