Where did you grow up?
Swanville, Minnesota. Perfect, right? It’s a small town directly east of Alexandria.
Why did you choose to become an Athletic Trainer?
I’ve always enjoyed sports and knew I wanted to do something in the medical field.
Why did you choose to work at Heartland Orthopedic Specialists?
It is close to home for me, and I get to work with an amazing team of other athletic trainers!
Heartland Orthopedics does a great job of helping to find work-life balance for athletic trainers. It is historically a profession that struggles with this, and the team approach at Heartland helps alleviate some of that stress.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
I am part of a great team. It is very rewarding to work with my coaches, athletes, and families. The best part of my job is being able to help athletes return to doing the activities that they love.
