Ann Renner
MD
Born and raised in Detroit Lakes, Dr. Renner attended Augsburg College for her undergraduate education and moved to Grand Forks to attend the University of North Dakota Medical School. She completed her medical education with a Pediatric Medicine Residency in at Michigan State University in Grand Rapids.
“I chose Pediatric Medicine because I love seeing kids grow and develop through so many phases of life, from newborn to college. I enjoy the full scope of pediatrics including both clinic and hospital medicine. I love being able to take care of my patients while they are healthy, as well as when they are sick and needing extra care. The most rewarding part of my job is helping my patient and their families get through an illness or injury, and watching them get back to doing all the things they enjoy.”
“My philosophy and approach to care is preventing/treating illness and chronic disease through regular clinic visits, routine vaccinations, healthy diet, and lifestyle intervention. My goal is to support parents in raising their children to become healthy and well-adjusted adults.”
Now back living in Minnesota, Dr. Renner is excited to enjoy summers and the lake life.
