Dr. Amanda M. Walz grew up in Pipestone, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota – Morris, graduating with a Degree in Biology. Dr. Walz received her M.D. Degree from the University of Minnesota in 2008 and completed her residency training at the Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency Program in Sioux Falls, SD in August 2011. Her special interests include obstetrics until 28 weeks, women’s health, pediatrics and caring for your entire family.

Dr. Walz enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and their two daughters, Abbey and Ella. Other interests include traveling, hiking, camping and fishing. Dr. Walz joined Alexandria Clinic October 1, 2011.
